Partnerships for Enhanced Services

Legacy Home Healthcare provides quality services basic to most home health agencies. We have our own cadre of skilled nurses, both RNs and LPNs, and more than fifteen agencies that provide therapists on a per diem basis. We are always looking to add to these numbers particularly in areas that are deemed underserved or requires additional overlap in personnel. But beyond these basic services, we have begun partnerships so that we may provide additional services beyond what is traditionally offered by your run-of-the-mill home health agency.

Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
We have parnered with multiple DME providers, including wound care and diabetic management suppliers, with 24x7 support and can deliver within 1-2 days, including weekend.

Respiratory Therapy
We have multiple respiratory therapy service providers, which includes oxygen supplies and can provide at-home sleep apnea testing, all with 24x7 support and nationwide coverage; sometimes delivered within hours of request.

High Tech Pharmacy
We are partnered with several IV and pharmaceutical services providers that can provide home delivery and setup, one of which is a fortune 500 company, another a rapidly growing outfit based in the Chicagoland area on the verge of a major national expansion.

Personal Care and Companionship Services
We are aligned with several reputable national vendors and regional providers of personal care and companionship services, one of which is fully JCAHO accredited.

Home Physicians
We can provide home visiting physicians to handle individuals with no primary doctor, or to work temporarily on cases where the primary physician is unavailable and immediate attention is required from an MD.

Nutritional Assessment
On a case-by-case basis, we can provide dieticians to assess nutritional needs of our patients, and sometimes even have meals delivered directly to their home.

Ancillary Services
Many services normally performed at a clinic or hospital can now be done at home. Echocardiography, doppler, EKG, oximetry, spirometry, wound management and surgical debridement, ultrasound, x-rays, and lab works are some of the services Legacy Home Healthcare can provide in the home setting.

Home Dialysis
We are currently in talks with a company to provide home dialysis services. This is something that is relatively new to home health due to technological and cost related issues.
